SCORING
The scoring for the First Annual Youth Trapping and Calling Tournament will be based on a point system determined by the species harvested. Separate point values are assigned for trapping and predator calling categories, ensuring fairness and consistency. Teams will earn points based on the species harvested, with higher points awarded for more challenging animals (e.g., bobcats or coyotes).

To receive points for trapped animals, teams must provide a photo of the harvest in the trap, including the youth team member in the picture, along with the team number and date. If no photo is provided, the points will default to the lesser scoring category. Predator calling points will be awarded separately and cannot be combined with trapping points for the same animal.
