1. All Michigan DNR Hunting Rules Apply, as well as any state and federal firearms laws.

2. All participants must show a valid Michigan Hunting License with the appropriate indorsement or harvest tag for this hunting contest at the time of check-in.

3. All armed hunters participating in this contest must be part of a registered team.

4. All participants must register before the contest begins.

5. Only registered hunters are eligible for prizes and the banquet.

6. Up to 3 participants per team. This is a TEAM event. This means you must hunt with the other members of your team. Team members are not allowed to split up or hunt in separate locations away from the other members.

7. One member of each team MUST be under the age of 16.

8. Qualifying harvests must be taken during competition dates and times. No early start.

9. Out-of-State hunting is prohibited.

10. All harvests must be documented and turned in within 24 hours.

11. Teams must provide a photo of the harvest (in the trap - if applicable), including the youth team member and the team captain's name and date.

12. If no qualifying photo is provided at the time of harvest, the points for that harvest will default to the lesser scoring category.

13. Predator calling points will be awarded separately and cannot be combined with trapping points for the same animal.

14. If a species matches between predator calling and trapping, the team will receive points for only one category.

15. Each team must turn in their own predators during the banquet.

16. All animals must be at Hilltop Sports by the appropriate time (as listed above). 

17. Disputes must be presented to the administration at least 15 minutes before prizes are awarded.

18. The Judge’s Rulings on animals, discrepancies, and/or disqualifications are final. No exceptions.

19. It is the responsibility of the team members to split prizes and pots. Hilltop will not be responsible for dividing winnings amongst team members.

20. Physical prizes cannot be exchanged for cash and there are no substitutions.

21. In the event of a tie for a category measured by weight, the animal with the longest tail will win.

22. Each team is responsible for their animals at the end of the contest.

23. The MTPCA reserves the right to change these or any contest rules without notice. All rules are subject to change. 

24. This event is organized and hosted by the Michigan Trappers and Predator Callers Association (MTPCA). All prizes, contest rules, and judging decisions will be determined solely at the discretion of the MTPCA. Hilltop Sports is not responsible for the organization, rules, judging, or distribution of prizes. Any questions or concerns about the event should be directed to the MTPCA.​​
     

Your participation in this contest signifies your understanding that all the predators to be taken during the Predator Round-Up challenge will be done legally and according to the rules and regulations listed above.
